GAINESVILLE, Ga. — A man is in custody after a Christmas Eve shooting that left one woman dead and a man injured. Gainesville police say they were called to an encampment near Dorsey Street shortly before 4 a.m. on Christmas Eve where they found two people shot. Ashley Marie Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.
