Microsoft has announced a new special edition Xbox controller. Following a recent leak that confirmed the upcoming controller’s name, the company officially revealed the Pulse Cipher controller on Tuesday.

Anyone fancy a new Xbox controller to start the year? Microsoft has unveiled one today in the form of the Pulse Cipher Special Edition, which follows on from the Sky Cipher and Ghost Cipher editions that were released last year.

Microsoft has revealed the latest edition to its Cipher family of controllers, and this one comes in a bright red hue.

Although the release date for the Red Cipher controller is not yet known, the insider believes an announcement is coming this month, and that it will be available exclusively on Microsoft’s official store at a likely price of $69.99 / £64.99 / €69.99.
