The Indianapolis Colts took an early lead against the Jacksonville Jaguars after quarterback Joe Flacco hit wide receiver Alec Pierce for a huge 40-yard touchdown. While the Jaguars responded with their score to tie the game on the following drive,

Pierce sustained the concussion in the Colts’ eventual Week 15 loss to the Denver Broncos, coming down hard on his backside while going up for a ball in the end zone. He entered concussion protocol that following Monday and remained there for the entire week, which kept him out of last week’s game against Tennessee.
