Microsoft has officially revealed its latest special edition Xbox Wireless Controller - the Pulse Cipher - which was only recently leaked by French outlet Dealabs.

Anyone fancy a new Xbox controller to start the year? Microsoft has unveiled one today in the form of the Pulse Cipher Special Edition, which follows on from the Sky Cipher and Ghost Cipher editions that were released last year.

Microsoft has revealed the latest edition to its Cipher family of controllers, and this one comes in a bright red hue.

Pulse Cipher, the newest Xbox wireless controller, is gorgeous. Red, transparent and useful, it is worth adding it to your collection.

Although the release date for the Red Cipher controller is not yet known, the insider believes an announcement is coming this month, and that it will be available exclusively on Microsoft’s official store at a likely price of $69.99 / £64.99 / €69.99.

Xbox has announced yet another translucent controller and it might be the nicest one yet. It’s the Pulse Cipher special edition controller and it’s equal parts nostalgic and futuristic in its dark red tone.

A new limited edition of the Xbox Wireless Controller, the Pulse Cipher, can now be pre-ordered ahead of its February 2025 release.

A new Xbox controller appeared on Amazon priced at $74.99 and it has since been revealed as the Pulse Cipher Xbox Controller, launching February 4.
