Storm Éowyn: Met Éireann warns of 'danger to life' as red alert issued for several counties
Met Éireann has issued a red "danger to life" warning for four counties as Storm Éowyn is predicted to bring "powerful and destructive winds" on Friday. Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, Galwat and Donegal will be under the highest level of weather alert from 3am until 10am on Friday.
All Met Éireann Storm Éowyn Status Red Weather Warnings
As of 9am on Thursday, there are eight Red Weather Warnings in place from Met Eireann. There is also a Status Orange Wind Warning for all of Ireland from midnight until 4pm tomorrow. The Status Red Weather Warnings are as follows.
