A New Jersey teacher is accused of sexually assaulting a young student and later having a child with him when he was just 13 and living in her home, according to court documents.

A Cape May County grade-school teacher is accused of having a sexual relationship with a student and birthing his baby when the boy was 13, a court record said. Laura Caron, 34, slept and showered with the boy, who began living at her Cape May Court House home at the age of 11, according to a probable cause statement.

The young boy reportedly admitted to being the father of Caron's five-year-old child and asked his sister to keep it a secret in text messages.
