Just one day after reports indicated that former Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer was on the cusp of being named head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, a pair of former Jets head coaches, Robert Saleh and Pete Carroll, have also found new jobs.

The New York Jets have appointed their former player Aaron Glenn as the side's new head coach. The 52-year-old, who has transformed the Detroit Lions' defence over the past four years as the team's defensive co-ordinator,

The Jets have reportedly made their decision on the next coach of the franchise, hiring Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn to lead the club in 2025. Glenn spent the last four seasons running the defense in Detroit, helping build the Lions into a legitimate contender with Dam Campbell.
