Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal started the second half of Saturday's game against the Washington Wizards for rookie Ryan Dunn, who suffered a left ankle sprain in the first half. Dunn checked out of the game with 10:11 left in the first quarter and didn’t return. Dunn had replaced Beal in the starting lineup Jan. 6 at Philadelphia.
The Suns acquired Beal from the Wizards in the summer of 2023 in a deal that sent Chris Paul to the Wizards. The three-time All-Star left Washington second on the franchise’s all-time scoring list with 15,391 points in 11 seasons, just 160 points behind Elvin Hayes.
