The University of Utah has made headlines by being ranked as the second most valuable football program among Big 12 teams and 28th nationally, according to a recent report from The Wall Street Journal.

The Indiana class of 2025 signee had 16 points, five rebounds and four assists to help drive national No. 4 Montverde to a 74-60 win over national No. 5 Utah Prep in Sunday's marquee game on ESPN2.

On Monday night, Utah Prep announced that it has hired Keith Smart as its boys basketball coach. Smart is perhaps best known for hitting the game winning shot in the 1987 NCAA national championship game for the Indiana Hoosiers, but he was a coach in the NBA from 2000-2019, with a few stints as a head coach.
