Kentucky, Indiana troopers saw 'drastic increase' in calls during winter storm
Troopers helped nearly 300 stranded drivers on Kentucky roads. Indiana State Police said its Sellersburg post received 200 calls for service, a "drastic increase" compared to a normal day. Nearly all of those were to help drivers. Of those calls, 136 were to assist drivers, 46 were slide-offs and nearly 70 calls were for crashes.
