After seven days of testimony, a verdict has been reached in the murder trial of Jason Chen. The Pace family has had to experience grief for well over two years, that no family should ever have to endure.

Jasmine Pace's mother may now move forward with her $17 million lawsuit against Jason Chen and his parents for allegedly concealing a murder and harboring a murderer.

Zack Crawford, the lead detective on the case, said he got involved when a fellow detective called him on Sunday, Nov. 27, and asked if he had been seeing Facebook posts from the Pace family about Jasmine's disappearance. He said he began studying those posts, then soon got a call from his supervisor asking him to look into it.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Monday, a Nashville based jury convicted Jason Chen of first degree murder and abuse of a corpse in the November 2022 killing of Jasmine Pace. They came to that verdict after hearing testimony that proved Chen stabbed Pace 60 times,
