In the promotional clip for Wicked, Ariana Grande says that she went in and sang for both roles, prepared to play either, just to be part of the show. She admits that while she loves Elphaba, Glinda was the part she felt like she was born to play. Social media absolutely agrees, as the actress has become a meme thanks to her performance.

"I think we all kind of knew why I was going in, and it was for Glinda," Grande says in a PEOPLE-exclusive clip from the 'Wicked' digital home release

Ariana Grande has been very open about the fact that playing Glinda was her absolute dream role. She wanted the part so badly that she lobbied for it for a full decade before it ever started casting.
