WLKY Meteorologist Matt Milosevich is watching a few flurries in our Wednesday skies, plus a potential winter storm by the end of the week.

While it may begin as a rain/sleet/snow mix, snow will overspread much of North Texas through the day and continue Thursday night. The snow may be heavy at times. Two to five inches is possible. Some locations may receive more than five inches of snow (especially farther north).

Another freeze watch has been issued for tonight as temps are expected to drop to below freezing once again. Whatever you have been doing to protect yourself, plants, and pets from the cold so far… keep doing it.
