The First Alert Weather Team says it’s a mild day. Here’s what you can expect: Clouds will move in tonight with a few brief sprinkles or light showers toward dawn. Tuesday begins with clouds & a few sprinkles then becomes partly sunny & warm with highs well into the 70s to near 80 degrees. Mild temps. into New Year’s Eve evening.

Sunday is a First Alert Weather Day as the potential for a few strong to severe storms remains possible in our area. Wind and rain will be the primary concerns, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

Good morning everyone and Happy New Year! We ended 2024 on a wet note with bands of moderate to heavy rain tracking through. A few leftover showers for today with mild temperatures. The bigger story headlines in the weather department will be the gusty winds ahead which will lead to much colder air.

Prolonged gusty winds on the order of 40-55+ MPH may lead to isolated power outages and/or wind damage through the rest of today. The latest reports from this morning show that much of the region is already gusting to the advisory criteria.
