Police in Brooklyn are on the hunt for the depraved killer who lit a woman on fire as she slept on a F train, burning her to death on Sunday morning. The horrifying incident occurred on board a stationary F train in Coney Island’s Stillwell Avenue subway station at around 7:30 a.

The fire spread through the train car at the terminal, according to photos reviewed by Gothamist. Officers patrolling the station saw and smelled the smoke, and with the help of an MTA employee, used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames. Police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
