The Washington football program made the 2-plus hour flight from Seattle to El Paso, Texas, on Thursday and spent the following day on the practice field before facing Louisville on Dec. 31.

For the third time in three seasons, the University of Washington football team touched down in Texas for a postseason game, arriving on Thursday in El Paso for the 91st Sun Bowl aboard a chartered jetliner.

Less than 24 hours after arriving in El Paso, both the Washington and Louisville football teams got back to work, preparing for the 2024 Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl. Washington held its first practice since arriving in El Paso at Socorro Independent School District’s SAC II on Thursday.
