Cinemark’s first-ever “Bring Your Own Bucket” promotion will be on Jan. 19 to celebrate National Popcorn Day. That Sunday, customers can bring in any clean container of their choice and the movie chain will fill it with fresh popcorn for $5, up to the equivalent of two XL popcorn sizes or 400 ounces.

Customers are encouraged to “get creative and bring in any container, tote, or bag,” up to 400 ounces or about 3 gallons. For $5 the cinema will “load it up with the good stuff.” No movie ticket is required.
